The Dream Amp Collection

The MS-80IR+ features USB-C connectivity for use as an audio interface, for remote triggering via MIDI, and for use with Guitar Lab app, allowing you to customize settings and load your own IRs. You get plenty of FX for perfecting your tone, including reverbs, delays, gates, EQs, and more. Fine-tuning and adjusting models and FX is easy with the four encoder knobs and cross-key switches, which allow you to switch between amps, FX, and patches with your feet. A built-in chromatic tuner is provided that features visual feedback in the form of changing backlight colors and support for all standard guitar tunings including alternate and drop tunings.

By analyzing individual sections of circuitry, Zoom's engineers meticulously modeled the greatest amps in history, faithfully reproducing the tone of each amp on the MS-80IR+ in more detail than ever before. It comes fully stacked with 16 of the world's most revered amps and cabs, plus 7 expertly crafted Zoom originals.

The Power of Multi-Layer IR

To create an IR, you first need to record a test signal through the desired cabinet. Most IR’s are recorded at a single volume and then loaded into an effects processor for application.

Zoom's innovative Multi-Layer IR technology combines three IRs recorded at different volumes. This more faithfully recreates the tonal characteristics and feel of playing through real classic amps and cabinets.

Beautiful Studio Sounds

Choose from five studio reverb effects to add natural space to your sound. These include Concert Hall, Large Chapel, Live Music Club, and more. The MS-80IR+ also includes 12 essential effects, including noise gates, EQs, and delays.

Flexible Stereo or Dual-Mono I/O

The MS-80IR+ sports stereo inputs and outputs, allowing you to transform your signal with immersive stereo FX or process stereo signals as part of your signal chain. But if stereo isn't your thing, the dual outputs also provide a handy utility in the form of a mono splitter.

Split your signal into two mono signals, with one output going to your amp and another heading to a PA system, fully processed with amp and cab IRs. Or, use the left output as a headphone out, letting you practice in silence whiile enjoying the full glory of your amp and cab models.

USB-C Audio Interface and Guitar Lab App

Record audio directly into your computer or smartphone with the handy USB-C connection, built into the MS-80IR+. With the USB connection, you can also receive MIDI signals, allowing you to remotely trigger patch changes.

The with Guitar Lab app (iOS only), you can browse effects, backup patches, and load up to 80 customizable IRs. Load IRs from your own collection for a truly personal sound.
