Teradek Ranger HD 3G-SDI/HDMI - Wireless TX V-Mount

The Teradek Ranger HD Wireless Transmitter sends uncompressed 1080p60 HDR video up to 1500' line of sight with only < 1ms delay. It features a wide operating range from 4.9 to 6.0 GHz and is designed to provide live productions with a combination of video quality and wireless integrity.

The Ranger HD transmitter has a 3G-SDI (SMPTE 424M) input and output, and an HDMI input, and it allows HDMI to SDI input cross-conversion.

Ranger HD is an uncompressed, 1080 HDR wireless video transmission system for broadcast, live production, and professional A/V. The system utilises Teradek's patented JSSC technology and operates over the unlicensed 5GHz band. Ranger HD is also capable of transmitting over the 4.9 GHz band, which may require special licensing in certain countries.

Teradek's patented Joint Source Channel Coding (JSCC) technology, utilising MIMO and OFDM, enables the transmission of uncompressed, 10-bit, 4:2:2 video at less than 1 millisecond of delay. Ranger’s exclusive RF design is UNII-5 ready and utilises 40 MHz / 20 MHz channels with far greater efficiency than H.264 / HEVC encoding solutions and offers better performance in the noisiest environments.
