Autocue 19'' Starter Series Package

The Autocue/QTV OCU- SSP19 Starter Series 19" Teleprompter & Software Package comes pre-assembled and flat packed, so it is easy to transport and ready to go as soon as you pull it out of the box. It features an adjustable camera platform so you can use it with a variety of cameras from DSLR to compact camcorder to full sized ENG cameras. You can reconfigure the prompter from traditional on-camera prompter, to a free standing prompter, an over the lens prompter, and a floor level prompter by adjusting the included mounting hardware.

The prompter features 70:30 glass paired with a 300 Nit brightness monitor with a 400:1 contrast ratio, which provides an average talent reading range of up to 20 feet, and requires no counterweights with most cameras. The package includes Mac and Windows compatible prompting software that features dual-screen display, supports all Windows OS languages, is keyboard controllable, and can interface with optionally available prompting controllers.

Prompter Hardware & Monitor
The included hardware allows four prompting configurations:
• A traditional through the glass prompting solution with hood, that mounts the monitor, glass, hood and camera on one tripod.
• A free standing monitor/glass/hood solution that you can mount onto an optional stand and place in front of your camera which is mounted to it's own tripod (not included). This set up allows you to move the prompter into place only when you need it and not locking your camera to the prompter set up.
• An above the lens prompter monitor that you can shoot under, avoiding setting up the partially silvered mirror and lens hood.
• Floor mounted prompter monitor.
The monitor offers a brightness of 300 nits, a contrast ratio of 400:1, with an aspect ratio of 4:3, which helps limit eye scanning movements by your talent compared to using a wide screen montior.
Suitable for DSLRs, compact camcorders, and ENG cameras, the mounting hardware provides an adjustable riser and balance system that does not require additional counterweights.

Prompting Software

• The software allows you to mirror flip the text in the prompting monitor, so the prompting operator can follow the text normally, while the text will appear normally in the partially silvered mirror.
• Teleprompter hood - prevents excessive light from reaching the monitor
• Offers multi-language text and menus with icon-based action buttons
• You can import QStart, .doc, .rtf, and .txt files.
• Ability to set markers in the script and assign keys to them.
• Multiple prompter control options and formatting and search functionality
