Tilta Camera Cage for Sony a7C II / a7C R Basic Kit - Titanium Gray

The kit includes a black full camera cage for the Sony a7C II and a7CR, a 15mm LWS baseplate, a compact NATO top handle, a NATO rail attachment, and two 7.9" aluminum 15mm rods.

The modular camera cage features multiple 1/4"-20 accessory threads, ARRI-compatible anti-twist divots, an HDMI cable clamp, lens support threads, and strap slots. The top handle features multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting threads and a shoe mount and mounts onto the cage using the NATO rail attachment. The cage can mount onto the 15mm baseplate, which accepts the included standard 15mm rods and mounts onto an optional dovetail.

In a robust formfitting design, this black Full Camera Cage from Tilta protects your Sony a7C II or a7CR mirrorless camera and provides a shoe mount, multiple 1/4"-20 anti-twist accessory threads, an HDMI cable clamp, a side NATO rail, two front lens adapter threads, and a strap slot.

On the bottom of the cage, an integrated Arca-type base as well as 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting threads allow you to mount your camera onto tripods, gimbals, and other supports.

Carry and stabilize your Tilta camera cage with the black Compact NATO Top Handle. This compact quick release top handle is smaller than the standard Tiltaing quick release handle and well suited for use with smaller cameras or when a smaller shooting package is desired. There is one shoe mount on top and multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads, each featuring anti-twist divots.

The aluminum and stainless steel handle mounts securely onto a camera cage, such as the Tilta Full Camera Cage for Sony a7 IV, using its NATO clamp and locking lever.

Tilta Threaded 15mm Rod (Black, 8", Single)

Tilta's 8" Threaded 15mm Rod is a 8" rod with female threading on both ends. This allows you to use optional threaded rod adapters to extend the length. As a standard practice, Tilta chamfers one end of their rods and leaves the other end with a straight cut. The chamfering makes it easier to slide accessories onto the rod, while the end with the straight cut makes for a smoother rod join.

The rod is made from machined aluminum for a balance between weight and strength, and then anodized black for wear and corrosion resistance. Please note that there is no industry-wide standard for support rod threading, so when sourcing optional rod extenders, it is best to stay within one brand.
