Sony BC-ZD1 Battery Charger

The BC-ZD1 is a charger with USB Power Delivery (PD) support for Sony’s high-capacity NP-FZ100 batteries1. The BC-ZD1 can simultaneously charge two batteries in approximately 155 minutes2 (full charge3) when connected to a USB PD compatible power supply with 30 W or higher output.

The BC-ZD1 has been designed specifically for Sony’s NP-FZ100 batteries, with ample heat dissipation measures plus temperature monitoring and control built in.

Compact and portable

A flat, low-profile design that measures just 84.5 x 29.2 x 70.0 mm (3 3/8 x 1 3/16 x 2 7/8 inches) takes up little space even when multiple units are used simultaneously.

1 NP-FZ100 batteries, USB PD compatible power supply, and USB cable not included. Please purchase NP-FZ100 batteries, a USB PD compatible power supply with 30 W or higher output, and a USB cable that can handle 3 A or higher current separately.

Single-battery charging requires a USB PD compatible power supply that can deliver 18 W or higher. A USB cable that can handle 3 A or more is required in both cases. Charge time may vary according to use conditions.
