The SC-Mercator CAT.6 SUPERFLEX is the ideal cable for mobile outdoor transmissions of digital audio or network signals, e.g. for use in the OB van.
The double-jacket design results in an unprecedented flexibility. The outer jacket is made of an extremely notch and tread resistant and also cold flexible PUR compound, whereas the inner jacket consists of a highly flexible S-PVC. Between the two jackets is a braided shield of tin-plated copper. This construction makes the cable extremely flexible and very easy to reel.
For AoIP transmission lengths > 75m we recommend our multimode and singlemode fiber systems with the connectors HI-FIBER4, FIBERLENS and opticalCON®.
