Featuring a one-step leg deployment system, the tripod allows rapid height adjustments across a wide working range from 2.9 to 6.6', making it well suited for high-angle shooting and dynamic production environments. The three-section carbon fiber legs use a knob-lock design and a mid-level spreader to maintain rigidity under load while enabling continuously adjustable leg positioning.

Paired with a 100mm bowl-mounted fluid head, the FSD18 supports camera systems up to 33.1 lb and incorporates a seven-step counterbalance system rated from 8.8 to 22 lb for controlled tilt return. Independent pan and tilt drag controls with four damping levels provide smooth motion, while a pan/tilt locking system, bubble level, and quick release camera plate support efficient setup and precise operation. Despite its heavy-duty build, the tripod folds down to 3.2' for transport and weighs 14.7 lb.
