With its five sound-enhancing presets and near-universal compatibility, the Saramonic SmartMic MTV550 USB condenser microphone offers podcasters, content creators, singers, and musicians an easy way to attain quality sound capture whether they use iOS/Android mobile devices or Mac/Windows computers for their productions. Though it is a USB Type-C mic, it comes with Lightning, USB Type-C, and USB Type-A cables, so the mic can be used with iPhones, iPads, Android smartphones or tablets, or laptop/desktop computers, no drivers required.
The SmartMic MTV550's cardioid polar pattern is ideal for recording sources in front of the mic while rejecting background noise and room ambience behind the mic. Turn the Mode control to optimize the mic's sound for speech, vocals, piano, acoustic instruments, or bands without having to manually tweak settings. The SmartMic MTV550 boasts a built-in pop filter to reduce pops from vocal plosives, a switchable high-pass filter for controlling bass buildup, and a mute button to cut the mic signal between performances or sections. Also, the mic features a 3.5mm headphone jack with its own volume control for convenient real-time audio monitoring.
