The Samyang 20mm T1.9 ED AS UMC VDSLR Canon M is a high-quality ultra-wide-angle lens for cameras with a full-frame or APS-C format sensor. This fixed focal lens is made for videography and is ideal if you want to shoot reportage, landscapes or architecture with a high-quality wide angle, with a full-frame camera. Even in low light, you can take perfect shots and the sharpness is excellent even at large aperture openings. Thanks to the large and luminous T1.9 aperture, you can take images with a very small depth of field.

With the wide focus ring, you can focus easily and smoothly manually. Because the ring runs so smoothly, you can focus accurately in both film and photography. The application of a 7 bladed aperture makes for a beautiful bokeh. The optical construction of the Samyang 20mm T1.9 contains 3 additional large dispersion glass parts (ED), of which 2 are aspherical and by the use of Samyang Ultra Multi Coating (UMC) the best light transmission is created and ghosting and flare are reduced. The ultra-short minimum focusing distance of this lens is only 20 cm. If you use the full opening T1.9, it is possible to completely detach the main subject from the background.

The T markings on the lens allow you to deliver very precise video work. The focus ring is equipped with a jagged edge and can therefore be used as standard with a follow focus system. The aperture is smooth and quietly adjustable with the uncoupled stepless aperture. For added convenience in filming, the T-numbers and distance scale are placed on both sides of the lens.
