The head is made from durable aluminium. When you’re setting up a shot, the Manfrotto head offers unrivalled stability thanks to variable fluid drag system in both pan and tilt movement which allows smooth shooting, and a 4-step counterbalance system up to 12,8Kg at 55mm C.O.G or 8,5 kg at 125mm C.O.G. The head has a maximum payload of 13.5kg at 55mm C.O.G or 9Kg at 125mm C.O.G. Easy link 3/8" thread connections allow an external monitor or other accessory equipment to be fitted. The 509 features the ABR (Advanced Balancing Recorder) for precision when fixing equipment, ensuring a perfect balancing position, saving time and making this operation much more efficient, accurate and fast. Levelling is simple thanks to the 100mm diameter half ball and backlit levelling bubble.
